Administrative work related to planning, development, budgeting, and management/operation of prefectural urban parks. 1. Matters concerning budget and budget execution, facility development, management, public works project evaluation, and requests from municipalities, etc., related to urban parks. 2. Matters concerning public relations and public consultation for parks. Matters concerning information management of the affiliated division. 3. Matters concerning various inquiries and responses. ※Scope of change: duties as defined by this division. Temporary appointment staff (or fixed-term staff substituting for childcare leave, etc.) refers to staff hired for a fixed term when a substitute is needed due to a regular employee's pre/post-natal leave, childcare leave, etc.

This is the department responsible for the development, management, and operation of 27 prefectural urban parks in Kanagawa Prefecture. We also provide support to municipal urban parks and coordinate with the national government (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism). Prefectural urban parks are scattered throughout the prefecture and include many large-scale parks situated in nature-rich areas, attracting approximately 12 million visitors annually. The workplace is located just a short walk from Nihon-odori Station on the Minatomirai Line, in an excellent location overlooking Yokohama Port.
