Job description
Assist the medical interpreter by accompanying patients and acting as an interpreter to ensure clear and accurate two-way communication between foreign patients and Japanese medical professionals during consultations. Carefully and skillfully handle very emotional patients, families, and US military personnel in complex situations. Coordinate and interpret for patients requiring diagnostic tests at local medical facilities. Exchange information appropriately to ensure timely billing payments. Maintain good relationships with all relevant parties. Process various documents and provide administrative support within the department as requested by supervisors. Also, support the medical records department to maintain the accuracy, completeness, and usefulness of medical records, including the completion of consultations and filing of other medical records. *Continued in Special Notes Regarding Job Posting
