Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager at SB OAI Japan, you will build and manage a strong engineering organization while leading the successful adoption of AI for leading Japanese companies. You will address the diverse business, system, security, and operational requirements of each customer, and implement and establish cutting-edge AI as systems that continuously generate value in production environments. You will lead technical talent such as FDEs, SWEs, and Technical Deployment Leads, driving project delivery, development quality, organizational design, talent development, recruitment, and standardization of development models. Specifically, you will be responsible for building, developing, and managing the engineering organization, overseeing the technical aspects and delivery of AI adoption projects, prioritizing and managing resources for multiple projects, establishing development frameworks from requirements definition to production operations, building standards considering quality, security, availability, and operability, systematizing development processes, design reviews, code reviews, release management, and incident response, templating successful cases, recruitment, development, and evaluation, sharing technical status and risks with management and customer representatives, and sharing on-site knowledge with OpenAI and various SB OAI Japan teams.
