Software Engineer (SWE)

A position to implement cutting-edge AI models in real business with leading Japanese companies and realize AI-native business transformation. Collaborate with FDEs to implement customer operations, systems, and data in production environments, ensuring quality, performance, security, governance, and operability. Lead from requirements definition to production implementation and operational adoption, and establish connectivity (AI Ready) to customer systems and data. Responsibilities include identifying customer challenges, designing technical scope and architecture, end-to-end implementation from prototype construction to production environment deployment, collaboration with customer engineers and business departments, and coordination with OpenAI and SB OAI Japan's Product, Research, and Security teams. Specifically, this involves organizing customer operational challenges into use cases and requirements definitions, designing connection methods and architectures that AI Agents can utilize, establishing AI Ready including authentication/authorization, permissions, networks, and audit logs, redesigning and implementing FDE designs to withstand production requirements, testing and releasing, designing operations such as monitoring, failure response, and SLOs, building consensus among stakeholders, and managing dependencies and risks.
