About the company
Temple (Shingon Buddhist Rengyo-ji), kindergarten (Ritaschool)
Hozo-in Temple operates with the motto 「A temple for everyone」, pursuing an open temple that is not bound by formality, adapting to modern times. Such a temple recently established a non-accredited childcare facility for the next generation of young children.
Rita School is a bilingual, non-approved childcare facility located on the grounds of a Buddhist temple. With the aim of nurturing children's five senses and international communication skills so they can grow into people who can thrive on the world stage, it is a nursery school that supports the healthy physical and mental development of children by incorporating both Japanese-language and English-language environments in a well-balanced way. Additionally, because the temple operates Rita School, children are also given opportunities to come into contact with Buddhist culture. The features of our facility are as follows: 1. Nature-based education: We aim to build healthy bodies through activities such as mud play in the forest land owned by our school. By playing freely, children can develop their natural creative thinking. 2. Food education: We provide meals supervised by a nutritionist with expertise in minerals and organic foods. 3. Interaction with English: By interacting with foreign teachers in English, we create an environment where children can become familiar with both Japanese and English, fostering international communication skills. 4. Interaction with animals: Goats, pigs, and other animals live on the premises. By interacting with animals every day, children can learn about the importance of life. 5. Children's kitchen: The kitchen is designed to match children's height, and children learn cooking and tidying from an early age. 6. Wood-burning stove: A wood-burning stove installed in the facility allows children to feel the warmth and comfort of real fire. Of course, safety is fully considered.
This is the kind of nursery school we are. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in working with us.
