Job description
1. Grasp issues and needs related to multicultural coexistence through exchange and opinion exchange with foreign residents and local residents, and consider support and solutions suited to the region.
2. Promote mutual understanding and exchange within the region through planning and operation of Japanese language learning support, international exchange events, and cross-cultural exchange meetings.
3. Disseminate information domestically and internationally by distributing information about local life, attractions, and multicultural coexistence initiatives through SNS and public relations tools.
4. Support settlement and matching in the region by providing lifestyle consultations, local guidance, and information on vacant house banks etc. to foreign residents and those wishing to immigrate.
5. Propose and implement projects such as exchange projects, tourism planning, product development, and community building utilizing regional resources and international perspectives.
6. Promote network building toward the realization of a multicultural coexistence society in cooperation with schools, local organizations, and administrative bodies.

It offers immigration consultations, settlement support, and events to deepen connections with the community.
The Shibushi City Migration and Exchange Support Center "Esplanade" is engaged in community-based initiatives such as operating an empty house bank, hosting exchange events, and disseminating information, with the aim of supporting migration and settlement and expanding the population of exchange participants. This time, we are recruiting for a "Multicultural Coexistence Coordinator." You will promote multicultural coexistence and create places for exchange by communicating with foreign residents, local residents, and related organizations. Main duties include planning and operating Japanese language exchange and international exchange events, disseminating the region's attractions using SNS etc., providing daily life support to foreign residents and those wishing to relocate, and supporting settlement through the empty house bank. You will also be involved in proposing and implementing tourism and exchange projects that leverage local resources. We welcome individuals who "like interacting with people," "are interested in community development and international exchange," and "want to take on new challenges in a rural area."
