Kitchen assistant position at Kikuzushi Honten, located in the central shopping district of Kochi City.
*Kitchen assistants are the unsung heroes, supporting the artisans' skills and the finest cuisine from behind the scenes. It's okay if you're not good at customer service.
In the non-customer-facing environment of the kitchen, you will play an important role in creating customers' "delicious" moments.

Sushi and Japanese cuisine restaurants
Established over 60 years ago, we currently operate 4 sushi restaurants in the central Kochi area. Our company has a welcoming, family-like atmosphere with a diverse workforce spanning ages from teenagers through those in their 70s, centered around our 3rd generation president and key employees in their 30s and 40s.

You will work together with senior staff, learning the workflow from them. The basic duties include preparing soups and noodles in the designated area of the 3rd-floor kitchen and washing dishes (using a dishwasher).
Together with senior staff, you will prepare for cooking based on orders. Detailed instructions will be given regarding the order of operations and ingredients.
You will be able to cook and wash dishes smoothly on your own, and you will have more time. In your free time, you can learn how to use knives and preparation techniques. Please do strive to improve your skills.
