Preschool Teacher

Experience, knowledge, skills, etc. preferred, but not required: Practical experience as a certified nursery teacher

License/Qualification: Childcare Worker (Required)

Authorized childcare center (childcare for infants from 5 months to pre-school age) and temporary childcare. Main facility: 60 children (ages 0-5), Branch facility: 20 children (ages 0-2). We provide English play sessions with foreign language instructors and food education activities including cultivation and cooking.

Nishikunitachi Hoikuen is a licensed childcare center with a capacity of 80 children (60 at the main campus and 20 at the branch campus). It is conveniently located a 1-minute walk (main campus) or 3-minute walk (branch campus) from Nishikunitachi Station on the Nambu Line.

With roots in a Sunday school of a small church, and founded on the principles of Christian love and holistic education, we cherish warm, compassionate childcare where teachers and children can meet eye-to-eye, a tradition passed down since our establishment.

In our preschool classes, we have 15 children per class, and in our infant classes, we provide care in even smaller groups. We strive to create an environment where we can engage deeply with each child, taking into account their developmental stage and life experiences.

The main campus and branch campus are a 3-minute walk from each other, and children from preschool classes at both campuses spend time together.

Our staff, ranging in age from their 20s to their 70s, gather in a comfortable, home-like environment, cooperating with each other in their daily childcare duties.

We are committed to creating a workplace environment where staff can continue to work long-term while raising children, with multiple staff members taking parental leave or utilizing reduced working hours annually.

We strive to share information and maintain and improve our childcare practices while leveraging the experience and skills of each staff member.
