About the company
Since our founding, we have purchased fresh fish every morning at the Nagahama Fish Market, and have been selling safe and reliable fresh fish — primarily seafood from Kyushu — to the local community. We also use our discerning eye for quality to deliver seafood cuisine.
Our izakaya (Japanese-style pub) sources and sells fresh fish and fishing equipment from the Nagahama Fish Market, and operates a restaurant. We handle safe and reliable food products, allowing customers to enjoy their meals with peace of mind.
We offer lively, fresh seafood — primarily from Kyushu — at "Hakata Yoshiuo Suisan" fish shop, and at two izakaya locations of "Hakata Yoshiuo" in Shime and Watanabe-dori.
Because "Hakata Yoshiuo" izakaya is directly operated by the fish shop, seafood sourced through our own unique route from the market arrives fresh every morning from all over Japan, which means every seafood dish we serve is outstanding in freshness and quality. You can also enjoy high-quality whole-fish presentations made from live and fresh fish, including our popular live squid — this is one of our great attractions. Among them, the seafood rice bowl of "Hakata Yoshiuo" is the number one most popular item.
Won't you join us, the staff of Hakata Yoshiuo, in delivering our proud array of seafood dishes — dishes that are sure to make every customer say "That was delicious" and "I want to come back" — directly to our guests?
The skill of appraising fish, the technique of preparing fish, the sense for plating dishes, and the guest communication that lets you see up close how happy the customers are — all of these cooking and hospitality skills will naturally develop day by day, and every experience you gain will surely be put to use in making you shine. We are looking for energetic, cheerful people who enjoy working together as a member of "Hakata Yoshiuo." Please apply!
